Joost and Jacco got their first pigeons in 1985 from Piere Verstuif from Malgegem (Belgium). He was a great champion at that time an he became his pigeons from another famous racer Rhijn-Kloeck from Antwerp.
Joost and Jacco got a lot of champion birds from Piere Verstuif.
The best pigeon they became from Piere Verstuif was the

This bird won 1th Provincial Pont St Maxence 3950 p.
2th Provincial Bapaume 3018 p.
5th Provincial Provins 3139 p. and so one
He was a superb breeder. He is father of one of the best pigeons they ever had ‘’t 25je”

For many years the ‘’t 25je” was the absolute wonderracer and wonderbreeder.

And in 1994 he won 2 Provincial races.

He was basketed 19 times in 2 years and won 18 prices
He won 4 first prices and 2 provincial victories, outstanding
With severall hens he gave superb breeding results. A son of ‘t 25je” won in 1999 1th Provincial Ace Dept. Zeeland and in 2000 the 2th Provincial Ace Dept. Zeeland.
Now is ‘’t 25je” father and grandfather of several topracers and topbreeders
C & G Koopman, Ermerveen.
Joost and Jacco bought more than 20 youngsters from the most famous racer of Holland. They became youngsters of their Olympiade bird “Ermerveens Hope” and severall youngsters of sons en daughters of the top breeder “Branco”, “Kleine Dirk” and so one.
They breed very succesfully with the Koopman” birds.
One of the quality of the Koopman birds is that they give a very good breeding results.
Koen Minderhoud, Koudekerke
From Koen Minderhoud they bought several youngsters from his incredible Vandenabeele pigeons. Sometimes they get a good breeding hen from Koen to use for own purpuse. No doubt about that the birds of Koen Minderhoud gave a succesful injection on the results of the last years
Wouters-Coremans, Langdorp
The great champions of Belgium on the middle distance. They won severall national championships.
Still there is a great friendship between the families Wouters-Coremans and de Ridder. No wonder that Joost and Jacco became a lot of youngsters from the best breeding couples of Wouters-Coremans. Childeren of “Kleine Limoges”, “Goede Zwarte” make their way to the breeding loft in Arnemuiden.
