The Combination
The combination exists of father Joost and his son Jacco.
They played together since 1995.
Before 1995 they played both succesfull on their own name.
In that period they both won severall provincial championships.
They decided to play together to put down still better performances.
The combination is member of P.V. De Voorwaarts in Arnemuiden.
A club with many famous Dutch racers like Cas van de Graaff & zn,
Gillis de Nooijer, Joh. van Belzen & zn, JD Schroevers , Cees Schroevers, Jaap van de Graaff, Gebr Dingemanse en more famous racers.
Joost and Jacco play with 20 widowhood cocks and 45 youngsters.
They also have 10 breeding couples.
The combination has a preference for the middle distance and the One Day Long Distance races.
The last 3 years they specialized in the One Day Long Distance races.
The youngsters get a good training, but it is not necessary that they win a lot of prices.
One of the best performances with the youngsters was a race from Orleans (420 km).
It became a one man show for Joost and Jacco
The result against 4306 birds:
1th, 3th, 6th, 5th, 7th, 11th, etc. 24 prices of 30 birds
Joost, who enjoy his early retirement, look after the birds in the morning.
In the afternoon helps Jacco his father with the training of their widowhood cocks. Together they make a plan for the next race to come.
